ATLANTA, GEORGIA – June 13, 2011 – www.uscarrier.com – USCarrier Telecom, LLC, a Southeastern wholesale provider of high-speed, long-haul, fiber optic transport announced today the opening of their new 8,000 square foot 24/7 Network Control Center in Macon, Georgia. This centrally located state-of-the-art NCC features colocation space and lab facilities complete with SONET, Packet Transmission, LAN/WAN and fiber system monitoring equipment from leading telecom manufacturers that allows for complex troubleshooting and testing.

• Locate the NCC on the USCarrier network backbone. • Monitor all backbone links and network devices while ensuring continuous operation of servers and services. • Centralize troubleshooting of all network and system related problems. • Expand capabilities for opening tickets to track and document resolution of problems. • Reduce operational costs by co-locating the central office, NCC and engineering in one site. • Provide quality support for carrier customers. • Maintain exceptional network uptime and service quality.
“It has been a long-term goal of USCarrier to have all operations under one roof,” said Joaquin Luna, President of USCarrier. “By expanding the USCarrier NCC, the company is fulfilling several major long-term goals; proactive notification on any service problems, direct access to Engineers for all issues, a commitment to technical expertise through extensive training and re-certification and the location of the NCC on the USCarrier network backbone.”
USCarrier will generate considerable operational savings by streamlining processes and allowing management to tap cross departmental manpower, lowering managerial and HR overhead.
